| 2/10/2012 Monday February 20 Final Spring Team Evaluations Updated The final evaluation schedule for Monday, February 20, is: 2001 11:20 (Rink 1 - Northtown Center at Amherst) 2002 10:10 (Rink 1 - Northtown Center at Amherst) 2005 9:00 (Olympic - Northtown Center at Amherst) There is no evaluation for the following birth years (teams are full): 1999 (Tournament Team clinic only) 2000 (Tournament Team clinic only) 2003 (Tournament Team clinic only) 2004 (Tournament Team clinic only) Pure Development Groups have very limited spots left for the following groups: 2005/2004 2003 2002/2001 2000/1999 - Full ATTENTION GOALIES: Excellent opportunities for goalies to be part of the Buffalo Prospects Spring Teams AND receive goalie coaching from Bob Janosz Goaltending School! LIMITED SPOTS!!! Contact Diane at admin@buffalohockey.org. We are accepting names for wait lists for all Development Groups. Contact Diane at admin@buffalohockey.org. Evaluation Procedure: 1. Bring $10 ice fee, jersey with name on it, and Waiver form. 2. After the evaluation, go to the Prospects office and look at the posting to see if your name is posted. 3. Players whose name is posted must then complete the Player Registration form and submit with your program payment ($475) before you leave to secure spot. 4. If your name is not posted for the tournament group, you can register for a pure development group (if spot is available) or be put on the wait list. Available spots will be determined within 24 hours and you will be contacted if a spot opens for you. 12/9/2011 2012 Spring Development Program Evaluation Times & Team Leaders Announced Click on the links in the box to the right for evaluation times by birth year and for the 2012 waiver. 10/24/2011 Christmas Camp Announced The schedules and registration forms for our 2011 Christmas Camps can be found in the panel to the right. These are a great way to get some intense and concentrated mid season training. This has always been a sold out clinic. Call or mail in your reservation today. 10/3/2011 Winter Clinics Announced The schedules and registration forms for our 2011-2012 Winter Clinics can be found in the panel to the right. These are a great way to supplement your team practices and to improve your individual skills. This has always been a popular clinic. Don't wait too long to call or mail in your reservation. 8/15/2011 Fall Clinics Announced The schedules and registration forms for our 2011 Fall Clinics can be found in the panel to the right. We have added a special new feature this year, a weekly full ice controlled scrimmage for U8 players (2003-2005). This season the younger players will be getting plenty of half ice drills and games, but they still desperately need to learn the geography of the rink and team play. This may be their only alternative to develop these skills, and not fall further behind Canadian players at the same age. Players will be assigned to one of two teams for the 7 week season. We intend to follow this up with a similar Winter season (Nov-Feb). 5/22/2011 Skating With Slava Program Announced The schedule and registration for our very popular "Skating With Slava" program can be found here and in the box to the right. This is a great individual or team tune-up with the philadelphia Flyers skating coach for the 2011-2012 season. Some teams combine it with dryland and video at the Northtown Center. Call 633-8568 to discuss team discounts and how to turn this into a great training camp. 12/17/2010 Program Updates Congratulations to all the people from 2010 who have rejoined the program for 2011. Please be sure to tell all your friends who were not with us last season, that this is not a closed program. We are holding spots for brand new players and players who played in 2009, 2008, etc that will be filled at the evaluation/clinic on December 31. They can contact their coach by clicking on the link in the paragraph below. 12/4/2010 Spring 2011 Program Announced. Registrations for All Pure Development and Invited Tournament Team players will be held Mon 12/6 - Wed 12/8 and again Mon 12/13 - Wed 12/15 from 5:30 - 8:30 at the Prospects Office at the Northtowns Center at Amherst. Tournament team coaches will be inviting old and new players starting this week (Monday 12/6) and continuing over the next few weeks. Spots will also be left on each Tournament Team for players to compete for at the 12/31 evaluation/clinic.
