| 7/1/2006 Nothing Compares Since we invented the multi-month (April-June), multi-instructor (NHL, NCAA. Junior), and multi-activity (clinics, team practices, 3v3's) the Buffalo Prospects spring hockey program, it has grown from two patchwork teams in 1999 to the most complete and reasonably priced spring hockey training program in the Northeast, and maybe North America. And, as we have heard time and time again, there is no better value to be found anywhere. Although a few of us have provided the foresight and leadership, many of the excellent ideas that have made the Buffalo Prospects program so good have come from our dedicated coaches, committed players, and observant parents. Over the last 8 years we are proud to say we have put positive life and positive hockey stamps on over 1,000 players from across Western NY, Southern Ontario, and Northwest Pennsylvania. This is our focus, not recruiting kids from across the Northeast or North America to win one or two more games a tournament. Our first group of players (the 88s) are headed off to some of the finest universities in the US, where we are sure they will excel on and off the ice. The benefits from their time in hockey and with the Prospects program will be seen for years and years to come. Here is what has, and will continue to, differentiate the Prospects from those who, unsuccessfully, try to copy us. |
