Buffalo Prospects Humbled and Proud to Partner With New Era

The Buffalo Prospects are humbled and proud to partner with New Era to provide each Buffalo
Prospects player with an authentic, customized New Era cap for the 2006 season.  Each child and
coach was given one of these classy caps over the weekend of April 8 & 9.

New Era is widely recognized as the leading and most innovative cap maker in the world.

To top it off (no pun intended), New Era is a huge Buffalo success story.

The company is in the process of making a major commitment to Western New York by
opening its new headquarters in downtown Buffalo.  It employs hundreds of executive,
administrative, and production workers here - as well as throughout the US.

New Era is the cap of choice for countless MLB, NHL, NFL, NBA, and NCAA teams & their fans.  New
Era has been successful competing against all the major sportswear brands you can think of.

"This is a meaningful relationship," remarked Prospects Founder John Hannon.  "We have been
offered several deals in the past, but all these so-called 'deals' only amount to a company lending
their name - and not providing anything to the kids.  For example, one guy I know has been waiting
five years to recover his $5,000 investment in several sets of jerseys (they have a famous hockey
company's name on them and they're still in circulation today).  This is different, and that's why the
Prospects and New Era connected so quickly and easily"

According to Hannon, "We will wear our New Era caps with pride."

He also challenged the Prospects family by saying, "Let's do everything possible to help New Era
grow here in Western New York and around the world as this compelling 'David vs. Goliath' story
continues to play out.  Whenever you have the choice, buy a New Era Cap (even if you insist on it
being a Red Sox cap!)."

The Buffalo Prospects program is proud to be associated with New Era and is grateful for the
company's commitment to the youth in the community it calls home.

We would be remiss to not mention and thank Mr. John DeWaal, New Era's
VP of Global Marketing who helped make this happen for your child.
